[Maine-birds] Rockport to Thomaston

On the Penbay Hospital fitness trail (located on the southeast hospital premises) a blue-gray gnatcatcher was very obliging as it foraged low and hover-gleaned among stubby vegetation. On Summer Street in Rockland a late hummer species buzzed a bloomed flower garden. I surveyed the scene for half an hour, failing to relocate the bird - reportedly light underparts with no apparent brownish or russet hues. The faithful Hudsonian Godwit remains at the small grassy point in front of Lyman-Morse on the high tides. The only shorebird on the shoreline today, the bird is exceedingly tame and easily viewable.
