On Tuesday the 26th, join us as we welcome Dr. Brad Winn, the Director of Shorebird Habitat Management for the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences for a presentation entitled "Understanding shorebird migrations to help direct conservation action."

This talk will discuss how rapidly evolving tracking (satellite, geo-locator, etc) technology is helping us understand the habitat needs of individual long-distance migrant shorebirds. The conservation community is gaining new insight into hemispheric sites of importance, and uncovering regional threats for shorebirds, leading to the geographic prioritization of conservation activity.
