[Maine-birds] Broad-winnged Hawks, Thrashers, Towhees, Field Sparrows in Augusta

130 Broad-winged hawks in kettles, gliding, and flying at Viles Arboretum in Augusta from seen from 10-10:30 this morning, seen with Lionel Quirion. Very unusual numbers for this location. All were heading East.

Several target birds for Bond Brook Recreation Area (behind the Augusta Airport) have returned. Seen with Cheryl Ring and Ellen Blanchard.

2 Brown Thrashers
2 Eastern Towhees
2 Field Sparrows (also Chipping, White-throated, Savannah, and Song)
Lots of Pine Warblers in the (surprise) White Pine forest south of the "bowl"
