Crossing the Martin Point Bridge a few minutes before noon, I saw a LITTLE EGRET with two Snowy Egrets land on the marsh edge along Bay Shore Drive in Falmouth. They didn't stick around long because of the extreme high tide and were last seen flying out around Mackworth Island. Out of view now but I figured people would appreciate an update on this lingering rarity.
Good birding,
Doug Hitchcox
