[Maine-birds] policy for birding at the Cliff House in Cape Neddick, Maine

Hello Birders,

I spoke with Josh Bower who works at The Cliff House in Cape Neddick, Maine. about their birding policy.
1) Please wear a mask at all times when on property and maintain social distancing.
2) He is requesting that birders use the lower paved parking lot.
3) Please stay on the paths that go around the sea side of the buildings, there are paths out near the entrance on the south side of the road as well.
4) Please do not enter any of the buildings, the restrooms are not open for your use at this time. .
5)  In some of the winter months the steps in front of the buildings are blocked due to ice, so please do not cross the rope.  You will need to walk around the building to get to the other side.
6) Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday are the slower times when they have fewer guests, if you wanted to come when there are likely to be fewer people around.    Birders still can come all days of the week.

I also told him about ebird and how he can see what birds are being seen and where to find photos and recordings.

The Cliff House is located at : 591 Shore Rd, Cape Neddick, ME 03902

Please enjoy birding here.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Happy Birding
