Male arrived this afternoon…glad we hung out the feeders a couple of days ago!
We have also had a number of yellow-rumped warblers hanging around for days…a bit unusual for our yard. We see one or two every year at this time, but every day for the last week or more we've had 6-8 (sometimes more~mostly males with one or two females) mobbing the suet and generally just making themselves at home. It makes for lively and colorful watching, anyway. :)
Love this time of year!
