[Maine-birds] Agreement reached with CMP regarding Sandy Point!

Hi all,

Well folks, I am very pleased – and extremely relieved – to finally say that my battle with Central Maine Power (CMP) over vegetation clearing at Sandy Point has finally reached a conclusion after a year-long process!

Here's my blog entry from today that details the ordeal, summarizes the history of the dispute, and what is hopefully its conclusion:
http://maineoutdoorjournal.mainetoday.com/blogentry.html?id=115419.

It includes a link to a letter from CMP that will be permanently posted on our website that details the agreement.

Thanks again to everyone who made a call, sent a letter, email, etc...and to those that helped keep the trees watered this fall (I'll be pulling up the water bags in the next few days).
