Re: [Maine-birds] Agreement reached with CMP regarding Sandy Point!

Thank you, Derek, for your tremendous efforts to protect this valuable
resource for birds migrating through Maine. Let your
efforts--including the responses you inspired in others with your call
for support--and this ultimately successful conclusion serve as a
model for all of us who have special places where we like to watch
birds and wildlife, places that might be threatened by "maintenance"
like this or development. It just takes one person to notice, to speak
up, and to spark the grassroots effort that might make the difference.

Thank you for being that person at Sandy Point.
