[Maine-birds] Biddeford Migrants

Sparrow numbers continue to build here in Biddeford, thought the Chipping Sparrows are almost all gone (just 2 today). Lots of Swamp and White-throated, as well as dozens of juncos. Three Lincoln's Sparrows was a nice treat, as was a single juvenile White-crowned Sparrow. At the end of Proctor Rd, along a wet sandy spot in the woods all torn up by ATV's were 2 Solitary Sandpipers and a Kingfisher, rather unexpected but nice. Pine Siskins continue to pass through, and Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers are seemingly everywhere. An Orange-crowned Warbler briefly seen this morning was my first, but the best bird of the day goes to a very late Wood Thrush, only the 2nd October record in Ebird!

Good birding
