Phippsburg, Me map 6 Totman Cove,
of note: three Long Tailed ducks off Hermit Island, west of Spring Beach and the red nav can. no mistaking them. i can hear them if I open the door and stick my head out. And, have five WW scoters, early in here for them.
Was hit with the splattering of sudden Yellow-rumped warbs as others have reported. I counted 18, but there were more, I'm sure. They are very busy in the bushes gleaning insects and eating Winterberry and Bay Berries.
The weird bird stuff is making me nervous, like maybe I should increase my homeowner's insurance or stock pile food like a Doomsday Prepper or something.
