Interesting birds yesterday at Essex Woods/Marsh were the Pied-billed Grebe family of 4 that continues, a small flock of Sparrows that contained Song, Swamp, White-throated and at least 6 White-crowneds. No ducks of interest, just Mallards & a few Blacks. A flock of a couple dozen warblers contained a Nashville among all the Yellow-rumps. Also I finally got a decent photo of a Green Heron [attached file warning].
(Camera note: This Panasonic Lumix DNC-F27 camera I've had for the past few years is generally TERRIBLE for taking bird photos. Zoom feature aside, the viewfinder is nearly useless and the focus is deathly slow. I got much better pics with my old Fuji Finepix).
