[Maine-birds] Greater Scaup Bangor City Forest


Yesterday I saw a lone female Greater Scaup in the small beaver pond in the Bangor City Forest near the old dump at the end of Kittredge Road (picture link attached).  She kept her distance but was not overly alarmed by my presence. A few straggling Yellow-rumped Warblers, abundant White-throated Sparrows and a Brown Creeper were also seen.
