[Maine-birds] N. Wheatear--No; Baird's and Skimmer--Yes

Marie Jordan, Pat Sanborn and I checked out a few places this morning.
The N. Wheatear (Kennebunk) was not to be found but a Peregrine put up
a few Dunlin and SP Plovers at Lord's Point. We then went to Timber
Point where the Baird's Sandpiper very cooperatively flew in and landed
nearby to give us good looks. We also saw an E. Towhee and had three
sightings of one or more Peregrines. The Peregrine seen the 3rd time
then flew straight out over the ocean and even though I watched it for a
long time it never deviated course. I wonder where it was going?

The Skimmer was still at Pine Point, flying back and forth past the
pier several times.
