From the white chairs going north there is a marsh on the east side of the
bushes that is to your right. The bird likes to sit on a stump in that
marsh, and walk around in the grass. It moved around a lot whille we were
there.

Happy birding
North Berwick
more directions: The beach there is accessed at the end of Great Hill Road.
A small gap in the shrubs at the end of the road leads to a trail that drops
steeply to the beach. The wheatear was to the right, perching on a piece of
driftwood. There is very limited public parking along Great Hill Rd before
the end. This area is public access but in tight quarters with private
residences. Please respect property and the bird, which may not tolerate
close approach. Parsons Beach is on opposite shore across the river mouth,
and the bird could move there if not where originally found.
