[Maine-birds] Pipits and American Tree Sparrow

Some 50 American Pipits were in the field just south of the Reed Rock Road, Green Point WMA, Route 128, Dresden, this afternoon at about 3:30.
The field was recently seeded down to a cover crop. The presence of the birds was only revealed when the flock put up for a quick spin around the neighborhood.

A lone American Tree Sparrow was in the marshy area west of and down the hill from the green metal building, again at Green Point, at about the same time.
