Re: [Maine-birds] BLUEBIRDS!

It's bluebird day. I had four on the Goodhue Road in Sidney, two on Depot Road in Belgrade and one on Old Belgrade Road in Oakland today. There have been bluebirds at our house in Sidney pretty much daily.

There was still  a family (?) of bluebirds at Laudholm Reserve in Wells over the weekend.
At my daughter's in Kennebunk, just a flicker, YR Warbler, first year White-crowned Sp., chickadees, titmouse,RB Nuthatch.
Haven't seen any White-throated or adult White crowned Sp. I would have them here in Sanford if I could feed the birds; alas a bear and too many cats:-(    I'm right next to woods. The sparrows like the leaf litter, but now are not attracted by other birds, at my feeder.

I thought I saw a bluebird in Brewer yesterday.  Maybe I did.

Added to yardbirds this morning is a flock of about 12 E. BLUEBIRDS. They have joined 20-30 DE JUNCOS
which arrived yesterday with a few ROBINS. The usual suspects include B JAYS, BC CHICKADEES, RB NUTHATCHES, WB NUTHATCHES, YR WARBLERS, WT SPARROWS, 1 EMPID, 1 D WOODPECKER, H WOODPECKERS, and, making occasional appearances, 1 P WOODPECKER.
