[Maine-birds] Pintail, Wood Duck in Naples

This is my first post and I hope I'm doing it correctly.  My friend Meg and I found 8 different water birds today on Brandy Pond in Naples. I asked the folks at the restaurant Merced's if it was alright for me to watch the birds off the dock behind them and they said it was fine.  If you go over to check it out and they are open you should check in and make sure it's alright.

Northern Pintail-1, male
Wood Duck-1, male
Hooded Merganser-1, male
Ring Necked Ducks-4, both sexes
Common Goldeneye-10, both sexes
Common Loon-1
Bald Eagle-1 adult
Plenty of black ducks and mallards.

We also went down to the Songo Lock near Sebago State Park and saw a Great Cormorant hanging out with another Bald Eagle. Or more probably the same one.
