Four of us did a little bird walk this morning in the drizzle, but quit before the real rain started. Some birds were actively staking out territories early on, and we did manage to find some new habitat for Canada Warblers, so it wasn't a total wash.
Over at Great Salt Bay Wildlife Preserve; both Soras and Virginia Rails defied the Nor'easter and were calling off and on. Photos of a probable domestic Graylag Goose that flew in with a small flock of Canadas.--
