Quite a warbler show this morning in the Essex Woods - we saw 13 species including singing Tennessee Warblers and a Northern Waterthrush. Four species of swallows over the pond and a calling Sora Rail from the small marsh opposite the pond.
At Penjajawock Grasslands we enjoyed delightful Bobolink displays and watched a male Northern Harrier pounce on and carry away a vole.
