I was thrilled to see a male indigo bunting at our feeder this morning, and then minutes later a Lincoln's Sparrow in the forsythia nearby. The usual birds were very active at and below the feeders today: goldfinches, house finches, chickadees, titmice, white- and red-breasted nuthatch, red-bellied woodpeckers, a pair of ruby-throated hummingbirds, chipping sparrows, and blue jays. One lone grackle wandered through the yard, too.
