I believe I spotted a Bonaparte's Gull on the Kennebec this afternoon. I watched it circle then land on the river then spent a few minutes floating toward me. I got a single photo before it lifted off heading upriver. There were 2 other gulls flying ahead of it which looked like Ring-billed.
