A few migrating ducks are starting to show at the lake. This morning a small mixed flock of ring-necked, common goldeneye, buffleheads at mid-lake. A late osprey overhead and a perched bald eagle. This site is good for a variety of diving ducks, and occasional large flocks of coots in late fall. "Chicky" is located on RTE 17 west of Rockland city limits.
