[Maine-birds] This past week in Bangor,Orrington, Hermon

Mon 1pm: Northern Harrier white phase, going down the airport runway
Tues 9:30am Columbia St. downtown Bangor: at least a dozen Bohemian Waxwings
Wed/ Thur. AM Hermon: never have had so many Yellow Rumps at the suet at one time: 6 males, two females, hard to actually count with all the activity
Wed noonish: Orrington: Greater Yellowlegs was a surprise; more tree swallows than could be counted with a couple barn swallows mixed in; still a couple Wood Duck pairs around- one male tagging along with a Mallard pair; saw a Canada Goose chase off a Blue Heron; Ringnecks and Mergansers seem to have moved on
