Pretty quiet at Timber Point--well it was mid-morning. I snuck over while my son played soccer and found:
1. a catbird in a bush near the parking area
2. a mockingbird
3. a pair of thrashers.
4. Lots of tree swallows. Saw at least one barn swallow mixed in, but there might have been others.
5. 2 black and white warblers.
6. 1 palm w.
7. one yellow-rumped w.
8. two ruby crowned kinglets
9. a merlin preening in a tree for a few minutes
10. at least 8 white throated sparrows
11. a couple of phoebes
12. song sparrow
13. on the drive in, a snowy egret, a Canada goose who might be sitting on eggs, and cormorants.
14. red breasted mergs and eiders off shore
