Beef suet is definitely the food choice this week. Started last weekend with one yellow rumped warbler, added a second on Tues.,
a third on Thurs. and a total of 4 this morning at 6:30. I'm glad we can help keep them fed on their journey! Even some sparrows, joined by the catbird, are regularly visiting suet cakes and cleaning crumbs that are on the platforms and ground under both suets.
Hope this weather breaks soon; if and when it does I expect a flood of the spring migrants; "my" orioles are due back within the next 2-3 days!

I have an abundance of Yellow-rumps coming to my suet feeders right now , and a couple of Pines. This cool "sweater weather" is not good for insect hatches.
