I don't know if it is the coming storm or what, but my feeder in North Berwick has been dismally empty all winter, but today there was a large flock of goldfinches, plus the usual titmice and chickadees, downy and hairy woodpeckers. But also for the first time this winter several bluebirds. A red-bellied woodpecker showed up, last time 2 years ago, and a Carolina wren, first time in 3 years.
