[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 1/4-10

Hi all,

My observations of note over the past seven days included the following:

- 1 Lesser Scaup, Wharton Point, Brunswick, 1/4 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 1 drake REDHEAD, Simpson's Point, Brunswick, 1/4 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group. Found just before we arrived by Gordon Smith).

- 1 adult Iceland Gull, Winslow Park, Freeport, 1/6 (with Jeannette).

- 8 Red Crossbills, 4 Northern Flickers, 46 Sanderlings, 111 Red-necked Grebes, 4 Snow Buntings, etc, Reid State Park, Georgetown, 1/7 (with Jeannette).

- 1 drake BARROW'S GOLDENEYE, Scarborough Marsh, 1/10.

- 3 TREE SWALLOWS, 1 Lapland Longspur, and 1 Savannah Sparrow, Eastern Road Trail, Scarborough Marsh, 1/10.
