My receptionist saw the owl yesterday near the stop sign intersection, she is not a birder but was still quite excited!

Thanks to the sharp eyes of Hawk and Lisa Henries we were able to see the Acadia Great Gray Owl.  It was sitting about 15 feet up on a small side branch of a birch on the right side of a road that takes off to the south from the road into Schooner Head Overlook. This road takes off to the south from the overlook road at the 4-way stop. 

The owl was all puffed up which was interesting to see - trying to keep out the pouring rain which was soaking us as well!
