At Essex St. Marsh tonight at 7 there were 5 GREAT EGRETS which gradually flew in to roost together, along with a Great Blue Heron. While watching them through binoculars I saw 4 GREEN HERONS fly in front of them, roosting out of sight in the tangles nearby.
There were also 4 BLUE-WINGED TEAL and several Spotted Sandpipers.
