Re: [Maine-birds] Black-necked Stilt-Stratton Island

It would be great if the observers on Stratton Island could record and share details about the bird there. The one in Scarborough marsh was a male, probably a first-year (SY). I could see it had a bright red eye, dark glossy black crown, back, and wing coverts, but showed some brownish in the outer wing (primaries). This would fit a male in its first Basic plumage.
