[Maine-birds] Monhegan update, 9.25.13

At the risk of sounding a bit repetitive, a few new birds today and some lingering ones...

Highlights for me:

Hawk show: resident eagle pair, many Merlins, Sharpies, a few kestrels and peregrines, several harriers and Ospreys (Will Russell reported seeing a male "gray ghost" harrier)
Philadelphia Vireo-1
Scarlet Tanager-1
Tennessee Warbler-1
BT Blue Warbler-1
White-crowned Sparrow-2
Dickcissel-1 juvenile

Seen by others but not me:

Blue-winged Teal-2, in the Meadow
Broad-winged Hawk-5, small kettle reported by several people of apparent juvenile birds that did not appear to be psyched to be this far at sea
Eastern Towhee-1 reported by Chris Borg and Bryan Pfeiffer on Underhill Trail
Lark Sparrow-1, continuing
Clay-colored Sparrow-2

I'm sure I'm forgetting things too! Also, Harbor Porpoises and Gray Seals offshore.
