A little more analysis, and a look at the radar from last night is on my blog today:

Meanwhile with most of my time this week at Sandy Point, following a weekend on Monhegan, I don't have a long list of "additional highlights this week," but a couple of observations of mine from the past seven days include:
- 2 1st-cycle LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS, Hardy Boat between Monhegan and New Harbor, 9/22 (with Jeannette; photos by Jeannette).
- 2 Wilson's Snipe, Greely Road, Cumberland, 9/23.
- 2 continuing SANDHILL CRANES (present since at least 9/3), Mayall Road, Gray/New Gloucester, 9/24 (with Jeannette).

Now, back to Monhegan...I hope there are still some birds in the pipeline!
