[Maine-birds] Phippsburg behavior oddity

Phippsburg, Maine Map 6 Small Point, West Point

Seal Cove Road
Northern Harrier fly over
Swainson's Thrush, 1 in the bushes, good looks. Came home to e mail that Mike F had a bunch of 'em on Hermit Island, a mile from where I was, so no surprise. Thanks to Paul Miliotis for teaching me that one a few years ago!
Common Yellowthroat warbs 5 all in one bunch, filching bugs in the bushes

Small Point, Falls Bridge Marsh (south of Lobster Cove)
Wild Turkeys, 14, all struttin' around, displaying, chasing each other, looking quite fine
while the turkeys were  busily bug hunting on the salt marsh a flock of Eastern Phoebes, #13 were flitting across the tops of the marsh grass and goldenrod catching the bugs the turkeys stirred up. The phoebes darted back and forth across the marsh behind the turkeys as the turkeys moved across the marsh. It was a most symbiotic event and quite interesting. I studied the phoebe flock but found no other species but that in the bunch. Clearly a fall out.
