Hi all,
Gabriel Willow informed me that as of 12:30pm today when his NYC Audubon group left the island, neither the VIRGINIA'S WARBLER or the BREWER'S SPARROW had been seen today- to his knowledge anyway. In fact, he had not heard of the sparrow being seen after about 10am yesterday morning.
That being said, I'll be the last one to discourage anyone from going to the island this weekend to look for these, or who knows what else?
