[Maine-birds] Pectoral Sandpiper

My wife and I led an all-day van trip for the Downeast Spring Birding
Festival. The day's highlight was a Pectoral Sandpiper in the pond
opposite the Eastland Motel in Lubec. I believe it's the first time I've
ever seen one in spring.

The North Trail in the Edmunds Division of Moosehorn NWR had more
Bay-breasted Warblers than I've ever had in there previously. Gray Jays
paid us a visit. And I'm pleased to say that a male Spruce Grouse was
found occupying the exact same spot as last year. Now that he is
semi-reliable, henceforward, his name is "Ed."
