York County

On the 15th, a SNOWY OWL was reported from the top of Mount Agamenticus in York.

A SNOWY OWL was seen at the Strawberry Island Preserve off Great Hill Road in Kennebunk on the 20th.

A PACIFIC LOON was found off East Point Sanctuary in Biddeford on the 16th and was still being reported there as of the 21st.

A late BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER was photographed at the Saco River Walk off Front Street in Saco on the 20th. An AMERICAN REDSTART was seen here throughout the week.

Greater Portland

A WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL, rare this season, was seen at the feeders of the Freeport Wild Bird Supply on Route 1 in Freeport on the 15th. A BALTIMORE ORIOLE was also reported there that day.

The fields off Stroudwater Street in Westbrook held a SNOW GOOSE and GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE sporadically throughout the week.

A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was also being seen throughout the week in the fields at Thornhurst Farm, located off Walnut Hill Road in North Yarmouth.

A SNOWY OWL was seen along Interstate 295, just south of Topsham, on the 19th.

Lewiston-Auburn

At least two REDHEADS continued at Sabattus Pond on the 15th.

A CATTLE EGRET was reported from Johnson Hill Road in West Poland on the 16th.

Kennebec River Valley (Augusta-Waterville)

On the morning of the 17th, a CATTLE EGRET was photographed on Garland Road in Winslow.

Midcoast

Two late TREE SWALLOWS were photographed at Head Beach in Phippsburg on the 16th.

On the 15th, a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was photographed at Popham Beach State Park.

Downeast

A LARK SPARROW was found at the King's Point bend of Manset Shore Road in Southwest Harbor on the 15th and continued there through the 17th.

On the 16th, a WESTERN KINGBIRD was photographed at the Stanley Brook parking area in Seal Harbor. A CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was seen here on the 17th.

A VARIED THRUSH was photographed while briefly visiting a Whitneyville yard on the 19th.

An adult LITTLE GULL was spotted feeding with gulls in the upwellings of the Old Sow whirlpool off Eastport on the 18th. A first-winter BLACK-HEADED GULL was seen here on the 19th.
