[Maine-birds] Mountain Bluebird, Lincoln (late)

I just wanted to pass on that a Mountain Bluebird was seen in Lincoln, Penobscot co. last Sunday (a week ago).  This is only the second time this bird has been documented in Maine

The observer got some great photos of the bird which was hanging out in some trees near the Carquest store on the River Road near the intersection with Route 2 south of town.  Many of you will remember this as the place that held a Northern Hawk Owl for most of last winter and early spring.

No word yet, on whether its been seen since that time, but area birders have been notified and I will pass on what I hear.  Will try to get the photos posted soon too.
