Re: [Maine-birds] Townsend's Solitaire continues, 1:30pm

I went out with my son at around noon. Decided to hell with the snow, lets go see a lifer. We arrived just as another gracious couple was exiting. We were able to watch the bird ferry back and forth between a winterberry bush on the peninsula and a large pine near where we were watching from. The snow was coming down pretty heavily and so the best picture I was able to capture was this one (Link). It seemed to want to hunker down in the bushes to get away from the snow. Ironically, so did my son, so we turned to head out and another couple was approaching so we were able to pass the torch to them. Hopefully they were fortunate enough to get some viewing time in as well.

Thanks everyone for posting the location and updates!
