[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights This Week and New Arrivals, 5/23-5/29.

Hi all,

A few non-Monhegan sightings of note for me this week included:

- 4 or 5 UPLAND SANDPIPERS, 1 Grasshopper Sparrow, etc, Kennebunk Plains, 5/21 (with Phil McCormack).

- 1 LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH and 6 species of shorebirds (including 1 Short-billed Dowitcher and 1 Semipalmated Plover), Sanford Lagoons, Sanford, 5/21 (with Phil McCormack).

- 20+ PURPLE MARTINS, Depot Road, Belgrade, 5/22 (with Bob Lewis, Don Mairs, and Ed Slattery).

And my personal "FOY's" also included:

- 4 Red-eyed Vireos, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 5/17 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Bay-breasted Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/17 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Blackpoll Warbler, Tidewater Farm, Falmouth, 5/17.

- 1 Eastern Wood-Pewee, Monhegan Island, 5/18 (with Jeannette).

- 1 American Pipit, Monhegan Island, 5/20 (with Jeannette).

- 73+ Northern Gannets, Monhegan Island, 5/20 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Willow Flycatcher, Monhegan Island, 5/20 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Tennessee Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/22.

- 1 Bank Swallow (finally!!!), Florida Lake Park, 5/22.
