[Maine-birds] FOYs and BOWA, Mt. Battie, Camden, 4.21.19

A rainy, foggy walk up Mt. Battie today produced a few more first-of-year observations, including singing Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Yellow-rumped Warbler, and singing Purple Finch. Wonderful also to again hear singing Winter Wren and Hermit Thrush in the misty woods. We also came upon a flock of about 12-15 Bohemian Waxwings in trees near the summit. And 2 Great Blue Herons flew over, a new "patch" species.
