Easter Sunday began with a catbird feeding on a suet cake - earliest here by almost 2 weeks. Later in the day had a blue headed vireo in the side yard undergrowth. Last juncoes (2) were seen on Saturday. Also had a 1st year Cooper's hawk slam into a window at dusk Tues. night. It was totally dazed but seemed uninjured so I settled it in a safe spot in my open woodshed-an hour later it was gone-a happy ending! Sharon in West K.
