[Maine-birds] Re: Marbled Godwits

for Marbled Godwits in lagoon at Popham Beach state park there is a good vantage point without a scope. It is right behind the food truck near restrooms. There's a path to a rise that overlooks the lagoon. Look for a small sign about horseshoe pit. Watch for poison ivy. We went Tuesday by 10 a.m. when the parking lot was empty and the sky was overcast so not a lot of beachgoers. Thank you for posting about the lagoon location.

There are now 2 Marbled Godwits in lagoon at Popham Beach state park. No Whimbrel. Tons of shorebirds in there too!!! Many, many went unidentified.
