Hi all:
I wanted to make a quick plug for Maine Audubon's Head Harbor Passage Trip this coming Saturday at 8AM out of Eastport. We'll explore these tidal waters of Maine and New Brunswick for a variety of birds, targeting unusual gulls like Little Gull.
Woody Gillies and I have been out twice over the past week, during trips guiding for Road Scholar, and have had great shows of birds and marine mammals. We had Little Gulls on both trips, including two today with one in Maine waters. Other highlights today included Lesser Black-backed Gull and the best views I've had of Leach's Storm-Petrels. Bonaparte's Gulls by the thousands, great studies of Black-legged Kittiwakes, and continuous Minke whale views rounded out the trip.

Thanks,
Doug Hitchcox
