Hi all,
Other observations of note for me over the past seven days also included the following:
- 10+ Lapland Longspurs, 100+ Snow Buntings, and 40+ Horned Larks, and 1 Green-winged Teal, Mayall Road, Gray/New Gloucester, 11/16 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 1 Lapland Longspur with 52 Snow Buntings, plus 8 Horned Larks, Twin Brook Recreation Area, Cumberland, 11/16 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 1-2 TREE SWALLOWS and 2 Black-bellied Plovers, Pine Point, Scarborough, 11/19 (with Jeannette).
- 9 TREE SWALLOWS and 1 Greater Yellowlegs, Eastern Road Trail, Scarborough Marsh, 11/19 (with Jeannette). It's impressive how many TRES continue from the apparent reverse migration event of late October!
- 136 Red-necked Grebes, 5 Razorbills, 3 Snow Buntings, etc, Reid State Park, Georgetown, 11/21.
- 1 RED CROSSBILL (FOF), Bradbury-Pineland Corridor Trail, Pownal, 11/22.
As well as the usual "lingering/late/pioneering" species including scattered Northern Flickers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Chipping Sparrows, Red-winged Blackbirds, Swamp Sparrows, etc.
