[Maine-birds] Bailey Island, 11/17 (BOWA, PIWA, LISP, other seasonally uncommon things).

Hi all,

Especially considering the relative dearth of "late/lingering" migrants and so-called "half-hardies" this fall, Pat Moynahan and I had a fantastic morning birding Bailey Island. Besides being pleasantly birdy overall, we had a long list of seasonal highlights:
- 1 BOHEMIAN WAXWING (First of fall; Early. Especially noteworthy and surprising given the lack of an irruption this year due to plentiful mountain-ash crops to our north and west).
- 3 PINE WARBLERS - together in a flock.
- 1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW
- 33 Red-winged Blackbirds (flock of 30 plus 3 with starlings)
- 4 Ruby-crowned Kinglets
- 3 Chipping Sparrows
- 3 Hermit Thrushes
- 2 Pine Siskins (FOF)
- 2 Northern Flickers
- 1 Savannah Sparrow
