[Maine-birds] More Nighthawks

Right now there are (or were, as they just flew off toward the west) at least 30 Common Nighthawks flying around in a loose circle, hawking insects over the Prentiss St/lower Fountain St/Kenduskeag Ave. area of Bangor.  They were coming within 70 feet or so of the ground and gave excellent views, though it was hard to count them exactly as they kept coming from all directions before circling away and out of sight.

Also, yesterday there were 5 more Common Nighthawks circling together with Ring-billed and Laughing Gulls over Sears Island in Searsport, also hawking insects over the main road at a fairly low height.  I was surprised to see these two types of birds intermingling as they did.
