Comments: Jeff Wells took a group for a bird walk around Seal Harbor followed by a talk about his work in the boreal forest and promoting his new book "Maine's Favorite Birds" with Allison Wells. We ended up with 18 species ending with Laughing Gulls over the Naturalist Notebook. Thanks you for a great evening and wide ranging discussions about the Boreal forest, connections to the northern forest and the importance of each to bird migration an the future of the global migratory path of birds .

Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus) 8 there were more birds out there consisting of adults and juvenile birds crossing between the islands off shore.
