[Maine-birds] Overnight arrivals

At sunrise this morning (Wed. 2/13) I had 32 Common Redpolls, two Pine Siskins, and 2 Goldfinch at my feeder. I had a precursor of a single Redpoll two weeks ago that remained for two days but these birds appeared overnight after an absence of six weeks. Thought I should mention this in case it adds to other sightings around the same time. A northward movement of birds that passed south early in the winter??
