[Maine-birds] VA Rail at Capisic - let's lay off!

We (me, Barry Hosmer, Margi Huber, Bob Bittenbender) did a delayed ME Audubon Birdathon visit to Capisic yesterday morning. Loads of warblers, incl Cape May, Nashville, many Blackpolls.

It may be time for all of us to lay off the poor Virginia Rail who is trying to have a normal life there. When we taped him, he came charging out of the reeds in a hormone-addled frenzy and attacked my shoes. I never saw such a pi--'d off bird, or a more confused one as he glared up at us before beating a huffy retreat. Obviously, this guy has HAD IT with us deceiving him. Time to leave him in peace??? We hung our heads in shame (and listed him shamelessly anyway).
