The highlight (for me at least) of our bird walk today at the Saco Yacht Club was a young (1st or 2nd winter) GLAUCOUS GULL roosting with the rest of the gulls on the opposite shore downstream of the treatment plant. Didn't see it on our return, though I didn't look too closely. I wonder if it was the same bird that's been sighted there on and off this winter, and if it will linger all year?
Other highlights including 2 Eastern Towhee (actually in Laurel Cemetery), a flyover Pine Siskin my FOS Spotted Sandpiper and Gray Catbird. Warblers were still a bit scare, with a few singing Black-and-white Warblers, several Yellow-rumps and a single Palm.

Also, a warning: Check for ticks! Twice this week, including today, I've found ticks after getting out of the field.
